Boland's Fishing Tackle Shop
 The Boland family have been selling fishing tackle for the last sixty years. The tackle shop is adjoining the bar. It is open for the salmon fishing season (February to the end of September). Seamus Boland, the proprietor, has been fishing the River Moy for the last forty years and has an expert knowledge of the local area.
The shop caters for all your fishing needs, including State Licences, Permits for the East Mayo Angler's Association, Maps and Leaflets.
The business is situated in Bridge Street, Swinford, Co. Mayo. Swinford is on the main access road to the River Moy from Dublin. The town is just off the N5 (the main Dublin, Westport road). Knock International airport is just seven miles from the town.
Angling has always been a popular past-time in the area and throughout the years many visitors have come here to take part in the fishing. There are many lakes and rivers within easy reach of Swinford which contain pike, bream, rudd, tench and wild trout. The Moy, which is a renowned salmon river, is situated two miles from the town. The coastline is roughly twenty-five miles away; this offers the angler access to seafishing.
